Do you need to know the brand or model of the equipment?

No. Our AI does not rely on OEM theoretical models. We build a unique model for each asset, independent of brand, type, age, or manufacturer.

Does it work on older installations?

Yes. Age is not a problem. We model each motor based on how it behaves today. In many cases, older assets show early warning signs more clearly, which can make detection easier.

What if an asset is already starting to fail?

That’s not a problem. During the first 30 days, the system builds a baseline model for that specific motor. If the condition then worsens compared to that baseline and indicates an upcoming failure, an alert is triggered.

Does predictive maintenance work on all HVAC equipment?

Not every component works the same way. To predict failures, we need stable, continuous data. Some components behave more “volatile”, such as compressors.

Can Soundsensing work on a compressor?

Yes. We can still provide useful insights, but it is typically less predictive than for many other HVAC assets.

How do you generate ROI?

Typical hard ROI are energy savings,fewer breakdowns, leading to lower repair and replacement costs fewer manual inspection rounds delaying Capex investments shifting spend from Capex to Opex
